Todd designed and sold new pools for a large high quality pool builder here in DFW. Todd looked around the industry and decided that he could build a higher quality weekly service company that approached the work from a strong customer service point of view. The name of the company came to Todd in a dream, the idea behind the name is Cool Pool People being served by Cool Pool People. He was now ready to grow a client base of Cool Pool People and develop a team of Cool Pool People to serve them. Todd started the company on August 18, 2008 and is still the owner to this day.

Amanda Richardson
Amanda handles setting up our preventative maintenance (filter cleaning) and does a wonderful job making sure things are done in a timely manner, which is vital for the performance of our client pools. She works remotely and lives in Waxahachie with her two kids. She loves to cook. Look for her recipes in our monthly newsletter from time to time. If you feel you may already know her, she was a long-time loved gymnastics coach at Eagle Gymnastics here in Frisco.

Ronald “Chap” is a strong steady! Our clients appreciate his care and consistency. In the warehouse, we value his awareness and accuracy to be sure we are prepared and equipped to serve our clients. He travels to and from the Haskell, TX area to help manage his ranch and his family’s ranch as well. He helps to keep our operations consistent and he helps our team be aware of and prepared for the weather.

Bland
Tara and her family moved to Frisco in 2001 when there was only one high school! She is a career banker whose dream was always to find a local company and use her experience to help it to grow and prosper. Her love and admiration for Cool Pool People began before it even existed when Todd, the owner, designed her pool. Over the years she has watched Cool Pool People start and grow. Her son even worked for Cool Pool as a pool tech for a while. As the company’s finance manager, Tara will help to organize the books and ensure that we have the data necessary to grow profitably so we can serve even more Cool Pool People. Tara has two grown children and two very spoiled dogs.
Eric Watson
Manager
Eric’s first day of work was a cold 38 degree day and it was drizzling all day long. Tough day to start his career here, but he showed us his integrity and drive on day one that continues to this day. He now is in charge of introducing every one of our new clients to the Cool Pool People way. He gets them chemically and mechanically up to speed so we can be successful caring for that family and their pool. Eric lives in McKinney with his wife, Stephanie and their dogs.
Steve Almond
Technician
Steve came to us after a long career in the dry cleaning industry, where he was in charge of the mechanical systems in a large plant. He has such a great attitude and our clients love him. He doesn’t procrastinate, so we are able to get to our clients extremely quickly. On the weekends you will find Steve on his boat up on Lake Texoma. If he is not on the boat you will find him singing karaoke. Steve has a son in the military.
Tizoc Villa
Manager
Tizoc manages our Team Leads and Technicians in the field with care and support. Our clients love Tizoc! His name is pronounced “Tea Soak.” The meaning behind his Aztec name is “He who makes sacrifices.” This could not be more fitting for his personality. He works tirelessly behind the scenes. He doesn’t work for the accolades, he is driven to do what is right on behalf of the clients and the team as well. He and his wife Sharon moved here from California, they have a sweet black and white cat named Charlie.

Heinrich
Alex moved here from northern Illinois, and we are lucky to have him. He is very thorough in managing his team. Alex and his wife Miranda have two small children that keep them very busy. Alex introduced us to his brother, Anthony, who is also a valuable member of our team. He invited us to his wedding and we had the pleasure of meeting his wonderful family.
Daniel
Gonzalez
Daniel is calm, cool, and collected. He is always game to pitch in when needed. He manages and supports his team with patience. In the face of chaos, his demeanor and drive have been a welcome presence. Daniel and his girlfriend Viv love to check out the local Asian dining experiences in the area. He appreciates good food.
